If I were to order one, how long would it be to get it? The reason I'm asking, is when I order something, it seems to take a LOOOONNNG time to get to me.
Thank You.
Thank You.

Actually, as you'll see on the website, I am awaiting approval from General Motors to print the plates. Once that happens, I can have them printed, then ship them out.
I'm hoping that will all occur in the next 4-6 weeks.
You can certainly wait to place your order until after they are printed. I'll keep you posted.
Thanks!

Did they give any particular reason for saying 'No'?

Is 'SAVTHEWAV' copyrighted by them? If it isn't, why not put out the plate with just that on it?

Because I'd be selling them to the general public, trying to make a profit, as opposed to selling them to members within one Corvette club organization.

No, SAVTHEWAV certainly isn't copyrighted, but CHEVROLET and CORVETTE, obviously are. I could make a plate with just SAVTHEWAV on it, but I'm not sure it would have the same impact without "CHEVROLET" and/or "CORVETTE" on it.

EEEXXXXUUUUUSSSSEEEE MMMMMMEEEEEEE.....!!!!!

Where do all the dollars go generated by all the t-shirts, jackets, and the thousands of other items that take up half of some of the parts catalogs (not to slam out wonderful sponsors)...??? I think you should get a copyright on "SAVTHEWAV" and if Generous Motors tries to use it in the future they can pay you royally for it.

In fact, put the plate out without the 'hallowed' words. Anybody who knows anything about it will understand. And when someone who doesn't know asks about it there is an opportunity for some education to be dispensed.
