I have to agree with this post, If I had to show him how to open the door I would tell him " let me show you", open it get in and drive off.
Funny story otherwise.
I had a young MP at a check point on post wanted me to open the trunk, I told him it didnt have one and he asked what the lock on the back was for then. I had to show him it was the alarm system. Young kid what can I say.LOL

Ya know...as hard, or impossible as it might be to believe, not everyone is interested in Corvettes, or have any knowledge of them, so...a few silly questions here and there are gonna pop up. I was told once by a VERY wise old fart that I couldn't expect everyone to know what I know, so it was unreasonable for me to call them stoopid because they asked questions that I thought would be common knowledge. I know OWNERS that have asked what the key switch on the rear panel is for!

It's still fun to mess with them, anyway....LOL
