Well you got the paint and trans covered..have you done the brakes..or what alot of people call the list..don't worry..the list will always be there to comfort you and keep you busy..and in some cases broke..sounds like you got the project under control..as far as the picture goes..it is in your set up that you put the pic in there..I think you can pre view it..if you can't get it to work do a search on it..I am sure it is there..if not ask again..

My first parade at Carlisle 2010
GOT IT! NO BREAKS BUT THE CAR WAS OWNED BY A FLYBOY AND HE HAD
ALL THE INTERIER LITES WORKING. I DROPED ABOUT 3K IN PARTS TO
MID AMERICA GOT ALL THE KNOBS, NEW WEATHER STRIPING, SEAL PLATES
EMBLEMS AND A NEW NOSE THE RUBBER/FIBERGLASS KIND. I WISH MY
PAINT GUY WOULD HURRY UP!!!!!!I FEEL LIKE A KID ON CHRISTMAS!!!!!!
PARTS AND WRENCHES AND NO C A R ! ITHINK IM GONNA EXPLODE

Is the running gear in good shape (besides the tranny, of course)? If you have that and the brakes, you should be well on your way! People only said the other stuff because you didn't say initially it was being painted. Your sig picture shows a car disassembled, now I know its that way for paint. Mine too! Stick with it! Mine started out in good shape but any car that is 30 to 40 years old is going to need to have maintenence. See if you can come to the gathering in May!

Hang in there.
As far as the paint is concerned, I know how you feel. The guy that painted my car last year had it from March until August. Now this included a complete strip-down of the existing paint; realigning everything; and installing all new rubber. However, he is the best in the area and it was well worth it. I would call him every Friday to get an update.

Stan:
It has be brought to my attention that my last post to you was taken to an extream. I bear no ill against anybody and try to help out as best I can. Sometimes I can be taken as being "bad" but I always like to add a little humor on the site. Hope to meet you in Effingham!
