I went to a friends house today and took the poop-on mustard car and left it parked in front of her house in the drive way. Spent a couple of hours there and decided to leave. We get outside and there a guy in a Lexus waiting in front of her house wanting to buy my car. Say whut???
There's no "For Sale" sign on it! He's a car dealer. I told him that he couldn't afford my car and gave him an outragous price.
"I said $50,000., but I'm not really wanting to sell it." He gave me his card and said if I changed my mind, please call him, he has buyers in California.

What's up with California, why would he want to sell it in California?

Maybe he saw your sig pic and thought it would look real good at Malibu.

When making a deal, let the other guy go first. He might have offered you $60K.

California is like a bowl of granola.
Get rid of the fruits and the nuts, and all you have left is a bunch of flakes.
The exceptions of course are members of C3VR! LOL!
Hey! Watch it. I got relatives out there.
How they got there, I don't know.

that's where the money is. they had an estate sale by me a few years
ago and the guy had about 18 cars in various staes of condition. he had
a 34 and a 35 packard that were in fairly decent shape. both needed a
paint job but were otherwise decent shape. a buyer from
california was there and won the auction for both of them. said he was
surprised he got them so cheap and that they would be on there way to
california the next day. said he had them sold as soon as he bought
them and tripled his cash outlay and all he was going to do was have
them painted.
