strange story... ok , giving a card doens't mean a offer on what amount ever...
Now as i see with the trucks and vipers... it are not so good times in the US.... Many of those "toys" from dirt bikes to ferrari's just remain unsold for the moment...
As we are looking for a race car viper
in the US we searched to begin with the recent ads untill we noticed that even ads from beginnig 2007 are still there...

I made a little study on Ebay : this year all vipers asked around 50K are bid upp to 30, 32K... 60K ones go .. 40K... never seen a bid going the asking price.
My friends from the SRT10 forum are selling in the 25-30K range !! for a 2004-2006 viper truck !
I bought mine for 63K ( europ price ) and now a ROE RACING blower and B&B exhaust
for about 10K.... That's 73K... now the same truck with all those goodies on it and 5K miles !! was sold for ...35K

In a new ad this weekend a guy was asking 45K for his stock SRT10... first reply was that the going rate was 25K....

Ofcourse our C3 vettes are collectibles but i think it's the time to buy things , not sell.... and it will become even better... as i see prognoses on the US economy ... ?? read something of downhill upp to mid 2009...????
Ofcourse i can only hope better for you guys .. and me.. as europ will possibly follow soon ...

Well The why i see the viper thing is ... Why ya want a "supercar" that gets its Arse spanked by a VETTE!
The Z06 owns the viper in everyway except price. So why buy a slow car when you can rule with a Chevy @ half the price. Real men(and women) wear Bowties!

Sorry guys, but I think it's the chromies. People have seen the prices going up on the latest auctions, and some are convinced that the chrome C3s are going to be the next big investment, especially the LT1s. There's probably a bunch of people out there with big money who know nothing about vettes and want to get in on an investment, or those who just want to be cool in a vette but can't afford a C1 or C2.
Micki - SELL THE CAR! We will find you an other one! Tell him he can have my 81 for 25k

Get rid of the fruits and the nuts, and all you have left is a bunch of flakes.
Gee Ken,
After all this time I thoght you likes me

I do like you. Read the last line. The exception is C3VR members, and you qualify! I'm sure there are also other exceptions, but I don't know them.
Of course my wife's sister is out there. No, you don't want to meet her. You don't deserve that. Not one of the exceptions.

Well to be honest if I din't live here...I wouldn't live here.
It was a great place to grow up, but boy has it changed.
I had to go on business trips this year to both Texas (I called Joel) and Iowa. It really is night and day from here.
But the whole family is here along with the job...so here I will stay...for now anyway.
