Vette(s): 1978 L48, p/s, p/w/ factory ac car factory manual trans has a 350 crate engine w/260hp, but also have original which may be rebuilt- we also have a 76 w/ a 454, and 74 350 in various stages of being rebuilt, plus an 86 and an 02....
So I traded the 96 Mustang (race built) for a truck, and ..... paint touch up and all bodywork for the 78. I can't wait till she's back to how she should be. New old taillights should be here sometime this week, then after the paint, the tranny is gettin done, all thats left- is front carpet and she'll be back..... until the next issue. At least I'm realisic, but still excited!!!!!

Sounds good Becca. Looks like you are staying real busy. Keep up posted and maybe a pic or two? Thanks

A tranny, eh?
Know anyone local that does that kind of thing?
You'll have the ol gal(the '78, that is) ready to roll before ya know it! Get it done for the trip to Hot Springs next year!

She runs well as is- just the synchro in the tranny isn't quite right- temperamental. Keeping stock on the paint- just doing touch up, because other than the 5 or 6 small spots and then the front bumper, paint is really good. Guy swears he can match it perfectly- we'll see..... The main issue with me driving her (don't laugh......) is the seat- it won't move.....so I have to put a pillow behind me and hang on to the steering wheel.....not a good feeling. THat should be an easy fix though. Will post more pics when I figure out how....lol

Hmmmm....wonder why Ron? Not like its almost the same or anything- mine's just hm hmmm... a MANUAL. Sorry - love manual sports cars....

Take your tranny to Joel - I shipped mine to him from AL. That sucker is almost as smooth shifting as my Honda....
