Hi All,

When I engage my brakes the engine revs up a little and the gauges needle move. Could someone help me with this problem?

Thanks!

Might be a vacuum problem.

I really appreciate your help.... do you think I should  replace all the vacuum hoses. Maybe that will eliminate the vacuum leak?

Thanks

I would plug any vacuum lines that come from the engine and see if it still does it when you pump the brake pedal.

I am assuming you have power brakes.

ALL of the gauges, or one in particular?

Engine rpm rise with power brake application usually means the booster is leaking, or the check-valve is faulty.

I believe it's all the gauges and the engine revs a little when applying brakes.

Yes. I do have power brakes.... I'll try plugging all vac lines this weekend.

Thanks
