slow raising headlights

Hi all
On my 81 one head lamp rises in 5 seconds and the other takes up to 45 seconds. Any suggestions other than ignore itTongue

Check your vacuum lines from the regulators (mounted to the underside of the nose of the car) to the actuators. You can swap the hoses on the regulators and see it the delay changes headlight buckets. If so replace the regulator, if not it is the actuator. You can rebuild these for cheap. Let me know if you have questions.

Yep, what Tim said.
Bairs did a great tech seminar on this for us during our gathering stop. Make sure you give them a call. I was amazed how easy the seals are to replace and the cost is so much cheaper than buying the replacement pieces. For sure give them a call and tell them you are from C3VR. They are awesome people.
