For the radio, you can replace the bezel, and then fit any late model radio.  You can store your old so you don't have to feel guilty about cutting it up.  We have a local guy who can make your original radio work like new, or can do the conversion.  There is also a Secret Audio that can go in your rear storage compartment.  It is very compact, and you do not need to ever touch it.  It uses a radio frequency remote.

Replacing the carpet involves removing the seats, sill plates, and console, so is not a quick job, but is certainly something the average owner can do himself.

Have fun
Larry

The water is most likely either T-top weatherstrip and/or adjustment, or rear vertical weatherstrip or window adjustment.  The AIM can help you with adjustments.

Converting to an electronic tach is a lot of work.  Clean and lube the tach cable, and check the drive gear in the distributor.  You might need to have the distributor rebuilt.  We sell rebuilts on an exchange basis.  We also sell an HEI distributor that includes a tach drive so you can have the best of both worlds.

Vette(s): Yellow 1980, L48,Auto, Matching Numbers, Everything factory original...for now.
I installed the USA-6, if I would have had more $$ I would have put in the one with the built in USB option.  That way you can put MP3 files on a thumb drive and it operates like a CD changer.
The radio looks like an old style analog unit until you turn it on, then you can see the digital info behind the analog face.  It's the best of both worlds.
