That is written UNDER some body paint overspray....not factory stuff. Looks like someone's name, perhaps a previous owner, or someone that did the paint work...who knows. Any factory writing like that would be upside down, with the exception of shim markings.
I tried to enhance the pic, but couldn't really get much more out of it. Some of it has been scraped off.

According my knowledge I'm the 3rd owner and the body was repainted approx 18 or 20 years ago.
I think also that those writing is (was) under that overspray from the last paint job, which was more like a quick and dirty work (hope to get here soon a very good paint job done).
I just looked back to all my pictures I did during disassembly as I'm about to prepare / get all necessary informations about the stencils and markings which should be on the frame and parts. Thats why I just now realized, that this writing is very strange.
If someone would like to have a look on higer resolution pictures, then follow the link:link

Still hard to see...."Glen Gloss(or Gross) Malt" ?
The last two characters appear to be an "L" and a "T". The "Glen" is fairly clear. It's a mystery, fer sher. I still doubt it is factory applied, but....assembly line workers were known to do strange stuff....

But that might explain the large number of "X"s I've found on some....
