For those of you that have received your new Ecklers C3 Catalog, look on the front cover and see if you can see something missing on that blue Corvette.

And what year is it?

And what about the bumper-ettes (above the exhaust), Are they supposed to be body color or have a black insert that resembles rubber?

Well the gas lid emblem is missing.   Shocked

Bumbers should be black I thought.  Confused

Not to go with years so I would go with '75 Embarrassed

My guess is a late 77. The Stingray script is missing from the front fender and replaced by the crossed flags. The filler door is just plan missing. The bumberettes should be black. the CORVETTE letters on the rear bumper is 77'ish

I agree with Silver69, I think this is a 77. I have a 75, and my filler emblem is not missing. My bumbers are black, and my Corvette letters have more space in between the letters. Thumbs%20Up

OK guys....I think it's a 77.  It doesn't have the Stingray emblem on the fender because GM scrapped the Stingray name after the 76's...I think !! BUTT....where's the right side mirror?

I'll bet the car still reeks of paint fumes. Shucks, they didn't even clean the overspray off the tires !!

I swear I see the Stingray script on the front fenders!! Definitely not crossed flags. It has the 8" CORVETTE on the rear bumper instead of the individual letters(75)or the early 76 6" nameplate which would make it a late 76. Also(is this cheating?) there's a pic inside that appears to be the same car that shows the grill on the hood by the windshield. Right side mirror was DEALER installed option 76(77?) and earlier. And I HATE when painters don't paint the little "bumperettes" black, too.  Mike mkapp78792007-03-22 18:01:56

I stand corrected...

Got out the Magnifying glass and I think I can see a big "S"..so it would say Stingray...also, I see no red that would be a sign of flags.

NO factory right side mirror???????? No wonder Toyota is eating GM's lunch !!

P.S. I still smell the paint fumes !!

I too think it is a 77. The only thing  I noticed immediately was the bumper things were not black.

Why would anybody put a "blue elephant" like that on the cover of a catalog that you are sending to a large group of Corvette restorers and enthusiast????

I still smell "wet paint"
