I was asked by one of our club guys what the address is/was of the St. Louis Corvette plant. I have looked everywhere, and Can't
find any mention of the address. Anybody know? Good trivia question!!

In December of 1953, they moved the Corvette production from the Flint Michigan Assembly line to the plant which was located on Union Blvd. in St Louis MO.

Sure, get technical on me |laugh|
Not sure.....yet. At least I knew it was on Union Blvd. That's worth something, right?

Alright, you get an "attaboy". All I can find mentioned anywhere is Union Blvd. Come to think of it, why am I doing this? The guy who asked should be doing this.

You guys crack me up. You can't stop looking now...someone had to know the number. Are you sure it had a street number? Maybe it didn't need one, so big and all. Good Luck!

Vette(s): 1979 Black coupe. 11256 original, documented, miles on it when I bought it in April of 2000. It now has 13100 on it. Oyster interior, like new. Everything original, everything works, except the clock. Paint has a couple of minor flaws.

An old friend of mine used to work at that facility. If I can get in touch with him, he might just remember the address. |thumb|

Guess what? I have an answer. One of our club members just emailed me with the answer. Should I tell or should we keep this going just for fun. |wink| |wink|

OK, I guess this one died. The answer:
13 Union Blvd. Reference is "Birthplace of Legends", page #18, from Just the Facts Publishing, copyrighted 1993.
