Hi All,
I am new to the forum with only a few post so far. (by the way this is a great place for info and look forward to getting to know some of you better) This is my first vette and I have been waiting sence I was 9 or 10! LOL
From what I have seen so far, this must have been ment to be. I have looked all over and havent seen a deal/steal like this.
76 sting ray body almost perfect, really nice interior, good paint and runs perfect. Suppose to be maching #s. I am in the process of rebuilding the front end as the bushings were shot, a small radiator leak and a crack in the lower suspenion on the frame. ( crack fixed now)
I got this car for $3800.00. I dove it home from Baltimore MD. The care was from TN and has almost no rust.
What do ya think,,, did I get a deal or what?

I would say you got a helva deal. Also, there ain't much out there for 3800 that you can just get in and drive that far home.

Hey Rick,
Funny story about that. I was taliking to a friend of mine that works on Plymouth, and found out that he is a machinest and pipe weilder by trade. He brought over a portable welder and fixed me up @ NO CHARGE!!! Wooo Hooo! Boy cant beat that deal.
Madrider,
Nice looking Vette!
I'd say you stepped right in to it.
I paid a little more than you did and had to have mine flatbedded to a shop before I did much driving.
Welcome to the site & enjoy your Corvette!

Kevin
All I can say is "SCORE!" what a great deal you got. Vettes for that price anywhere around here usually make good lawn decorations. Of course it being a '76 makes it cool!
