Just had a great experience with Summit. They did a few things for me that they really didn't have to do.  Dave in Tech Support and Virginia in Customer Service were very helpful.
It's not often enough that we pat some one on the back for the extra effort they make.  These two made me a Summit customer for life.
Just wanted to share this with the Forum.

That's good to hear...it seems most people are quick to air their gripes but usually say little or nothing when a business takes good care of them.

I've found both Summit and Jegs to be excellent in customer service. More often than not I'll buy from Summit, but each carries some products the other doesn't.

I placed a few orders at Summit and one time I got the wrong spark plug wires.  The website was at fault; the picture was not the right one.

Speaking with customer service, he gave me the part number I was looking for (I was surprised by his knowledge) and he took care of replacing the order.  He made it really easy.

A week later, the site was fixed.  So not only he took care of my problem easily, but he also reported it up the chain to the website gets fixed and it was promptly done.

Kudo to Summit!Thumbs%20Up

(BUT, sometimes I find the search a little bit awkward...)

Likewise - I had a great experience with a recent water pump purchase from Summit - and, when they weren't sure about using a wire reinforced lower radiator hose (as recommended on a pink slip in the box) they put me in touch directly with Flow Kooler to check it out.

I've had a couple of good experiences with Summit.  Ordered a set of injectors for "The Beast" and they arrived BEFORE the estimated arrival date.

Late last fall I ordered a set of headers for "BIGBRRD".  The carton was a bit banged up but nothing inside was damaged.  After getting the engine back in the car and the headers bolted on this spring we noticed that the left collector was canted up towards the floorpan, not straight like the right collector.  I called their tech line and the fellow I talked to said that was wrong and prepped the customer rep about getting them sent back, even though it was way past the 90 day return llimit.  They paid for the return shipping also.  While on the line I had another set sent out.  They fit the same way as the first set...!!!  Another call and they sent me a shipping label for returning that set.

After looking at exhaust options and not liking the ol' cast iron manifolds decided to go with a set of shorty headers.  Called Summit and they arrived ahead of schedule.  Gotta like that!

I've been using Summit Racing for some time now and I can honestly say they are top shelf. They did ship an incorrect item once, I called and they reshipped it without asking any questions. They also paid postage for the in returned  item as well as the correct one. I didn't have to wait until they received the incorrect item prior to receiving the corrected part. Good customer service! I use them frequently.
