Here's another Stingray-related article I wrote for my predominantly motorcycle website. Again, you have to type the web address into your browser window and hit "go" (or you can bookmark my homepage) in order to get there, because the Tripod server won't allow linking to Tripod pages (unless it's from a bookmark) from non-Tripod sites. The address for this article is:

Vette(s): 1965 white with red stinger Coupe HotRod
1970 Bridgehampton Blue Convertible - NCRS / Stock
2019 Sebring Orange Coupe 3LT
Gone but not forgotten:
1987 Yellow Convertible
2003 Yellow Convertible
2007 Atomic Orange Coupe
2007 Lemans Blue coupe
That's neat. You write very succinctly. :) What color is your corvette? It almost looks like Corvette Bronze in some of the pictures, but more reddish in others. ~Juliet

None of the pics in the article are of my Vette, Juliet. Mary's red, alhtough that's not the original color. According to the trim tag, the original color was blue. I'm the third owner, so either the original owner had her repainted, or the 2nd owner did. She also has a later model small block with center-bolt valve covers (I think early 90s), roller rockers, electronic ignition conversion in the stock distributor housing, Edelbrock Performer manifold with Holley quad. Thanks for the comp about my writing! I dig yer Vettes! I wish I still had my '64 convertible. I sometimes wonder if she even survived the years intact...... I'll never know, I guess.

Hi,
Just read your article....and just gotta agree with you on all points. My '72 has the removable back window....take the tops off and remove the rear window and you have a convertable with a roll bar.....
I love the feel of the wind in my hair....or what's left of it! I also have a '79 Jeep CJ-7 and a '80 Harley FXE....
Quick question.....where did you get the t-top carrier you mentioned in the article? I think I have the original covers, but they are thin and don't provide much protection. I would like something that is padded to keep from scratching the paint.

Hey Martin---my wife recently traded her dinky little '95 Saturn for a 1997 Ford F-150 pick-up truck with an 8 foot bed. Lemme tell ya, other drivers have a different attitude toward me when I drive the truck. Man, nobody dares to honk at me when I driving it! I guess that they do respect size. That truck is a blast to drive, once I got used to the sheer bulk (6,000 lbs). I didn't think that I would dig the truck, but I love it.
By the way, Shovelheads rule!
