I just want to say how proud I am for all of you Vet's. Due to medical reasons I was unable to serve during the Vietnam war. Even though it was beyond my control, the guilt for not being there with you will always be there. Thank you all.
Terry

I think I'm gunna get all teary and start blowin' snot bubbles here! This dialog is gettin' way too emotional for an old vet to handle.
Maybe we just need a group
here.

We seem to have a majority of jarheads on the site. Not bad, but I thought it was just a "few" good men?
Just wondering where all the Army-types have gone? Before the PC-police jump on me, and just for the record, my family has served back to the Civil War (no, I'm not THAT old), all services. I was the black sheep when I went Army. My baby brother just retired out of Iraq after two tours in Baghdad with 3ID, and my oldest son still flies C-130s in theater. God bless ALL of our serving brothers and sisters, as well as those who have hung up the uniform!! We still continue (and need) to serve our Nation in some fashion.

Seriously now, John, C3VR is an AWESOME family. A bit dysfunctional, but extremely knowledgeable and supportive. Welcome aboard Marine!
Just sign on the dotted line.

Plus the fact you will having fun as you get smart.

I re-enlisted on the Arizona Memorial in '81'. I took my oath in front of the 'Wall' and thanked them for their service. I'm proud to be aquainted with one of their relatives! Your guilt is not warranted and should not be felt!
