That's the dealer's price. I talked to the owner personaly and he'll take 13k even. He has all the paper work including the  window sticker. They are asking 13.5k for the solid silver.

Buying a car because it would show better then another car seems rather STUPID to me ...(not really BUT I buy a car to drive )

That said I never really cared too much for Silver
But I now own a Silver C5 ..which replaced a Black C4 and I LOVE IT...

Just so much easier to keep looking the way I like my Corvettes to look.. (CLEAN) .. the thing looks clean all the time even when its not... the black was ...(well a *&^%) to keep clean looking..

Anyway.. thats my take on this situation..

I would get the two-tone because the silver is just too plain for my taste.

Why ask us?  You say this is an opinion poll, but only one opinion counts and that's yours.  We aren't buying the car.  Buy the one you want.
The two tone car far will show better by far.  I used to have a '78 Silver Anniversary and loved the two tone.  A member of my local Vette club has an all silver '79 and side by side there was no comparison.  The all silver '79 looked bland.
Ouch  OUCH , BLAND!  MAYBE THAT IS BECAUSE THERE IS NO CHROME.
i CHOOSE THE SOLID COLOR SILVER WITH THE CLARET INTERIOR. THEY WON`T FIGHT AGAINST EACH OTHER . JMO

2 tone.
For the last 3 years I've gone to quite a few car show/cruise nights, only once did I see a 2 tone.
BTW,
I almost bought one myself, took the 74 BB instead.
Tux makes a good point about the Crossfire though, you may want to check it out a little deeper.

Up to you, but a five speed automatic with overdrive and anti-lock brakes are not standard.  If the listing is correct, these have been added by a previous owner.

$16K is too high in my opinion (you can buy a CE for that amount), but you say they will take less.

was hoping that car had the claret interior, which i think looks alot better with silver than the red. in the case of this car ,i change my mind and go with the 2.tone.
always evaluate  condition with these cars. I think people underestimate the value of the c`3s. repairs are expensive.especially the undercarraige  if you can`t do it yourself.
