Looks like estimated departure is either Monday aft. or Tues. aft. depending on repairs. I did tell them I preferred ofifficial GM parts.Big%20smile

Thanks for the good vibes. Those and Dilaudid seem to work real well in tandem.LOL

I'll keep you posted as I can. Right now I am in a family consultation room using their computer.  The food is not the greatest....breakfast was 2 pc. french toast and O.J.  I did manage to get Linda to stop at a chinese restaurant for this aft. for good food.

OK back to my cell before they figure out what I am doing.   Thanks ALL

Vette(s): Silver 1974 Convertible - L82 4 speed Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses. 2008 Jetstream Blue Convertible
Dennis, you can replace that engine in your Vette - the one inside of you is a little more difficult!

Really glad that you got the car's motor going.  Now worry about yours.  Also very glad to see your sense of humor is strong.  Keep us informed and get better soonThumbs%20Up

I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!

Sounds like life is taking a turn for the better Dennis. The vette should give you the push to take care of yourself. Don't ignore those chest pains, they're often trying to tell you something. Congratulations on the resto milestone and the best of luck on both of you.

Alright I sneaked out for a sec. no one is in this little room sooo... I give a quick report:

Of all the nurses in the place I seem to get the older ones, that's OK untill Nurse Tyler came along.  This woman must be a graduate of the AARP kick Dennis's butt school of cardiac sadism.

"I need to change this IV"  Rips all the tape off my arm along with the few hairs I have. OWWWW. Thank you maam can I have another.
Then she says ..."I see an enema on the orders....."   All my hair turned white, I gripped the matress so hard that rivers of foam was coming out of the seams. My mouth was devoid of all moisture.  Even my maniless left the U.S.

2 seconds later she says " oh my bad, that was for Mr. Wilkens across the hall."  OMG it felt like 2hours untill I got all my senses back. My hands are still tingling from the death grip.

Thanks Nurse Tyler for making my day I feel so much better I am ready to go home right now. "Not yet dear you still have a cath tomorrow"  I want Monday to come so fast.   That woman sounds like Godzilla tromping down the halls here.

I will post more later if they don't tighten the restraints too much.   DB

Hey Dennis,
I hadn't logged on for a few days.
Man! Some good news and some not so good news.
I sure am glad the motor roared to life! What a great feeling it must have been gettin' it started! It'll be good to see that video when the time is right.
I know your stay in the hospital must be a drag. I guess the only way out is straight thru. Stick with what they tell you and know we're all praying for you.
Kevin

P.S. I see your sense of humor is in full gear. Good Stuff!!!
