Vette(s): #1 *1980 White, Red interior 14,000 mile #2 *1980 Red, Oyster interior 93,000 miles Resto project car, rebuilt to 383 stroker

Well this weekend is pose to be great, so it will be first start up and maybe a short run on the white one.

Now the red one is this seasons project, first clear out a bay, pull motor, install complete front end and send parts back to larry at CS. Soda blast the engine frame area and repaint black, recoat headers. replace rusted out oil pan and reinstall motor. Start driven it. Maybe start the body work, see how the season goes.

I bought an "Eastwood" double blaster last week Soda/ Abrasive. I just put 500 pounds of soda media in the garage today. This weekend I'm off to Lowes to get their dual stage 80 gallon "Kobalt" compresser to replace my little portable that I've had for 30 years. Lowes has that no interest for 12 months so it's a good deal at 799.00
I plan to remove the paint off the red one with soda blast, I will document it here.
I'm so ready to get started......

Well now that the exhaust is done I need to start the heater core replacement job. I bought the core last summer and the seals a couple of years ago so its all up to me now to get-r-done.

Well, so many projects and so little time!! Wink

Rebuild the front suspension when I add the cut-down coil springs.

Got a bad case of the "while I'm at it!" disease  when I did the rear.  Making me think twice. . . .but then, a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do.
