Check it first ebo. That's a great setup to keep if the bladder isn't deformed. They were originally put in due to the firery results from C3s in rearend collisions so the fuel could be contained. These only lasted a short time in production.
Hopefully it's the sending unit...

I have never dropped the spare so maybe a good thing to try. Then I can clean and lube it all when i put it back up there.

OK finally got to do some work on the car.
Dropped the spare, flat, no air. Aired it up cleaned up the carrier and put it back in place. Put the battery on charge. Then did what I had hoped to do at Lukes BBQ and took all the belts off. I did not even draw blood! But of course one of the belts is to short. The belts are all the new cog style so its a little harder to match them up. The belts were not marked which is which, so either the alt belt or the air cond belt is short. I'll take all the factory belts with me and cross check the numbers Monday.
The PS belt was the only PITA. i'm sure trying to get them tight will draw blood and tricks? So if we had tried to do these last Sept it would have not worked out so well. The omly belt with wear was the Alt belt and all the others have to come off to get to it.
