I just picked up 3 gallons of prestone (not pre mix I don't get that full strenght 11 bucks 1/2 strenght 10 bucks)
Flush, and flush kit. 5 qts of 10-30 an a PH5. Almost done.
I know on the Carsile trip it was getting 17-or 18 with a fouled plug and orginal wires, cap etc.
If I have time I'll swap the gauge from the red car.

You are a very astute feller, ebo.
Sounds like you will be ready to fly next Tuesday.
I took mine for a test flight around Canandaigua Lake today.
She ran like a Swiss watch. Very smooth and never skipped a beat.
I am still amazed when complete strangers say "nice Vette" when I pull up next to them.
Today a lady told me she loved my Vette.
Never got that in any other car.

Got the cooling system flushed today, have a small drip comming from the drain plug at bottom of Radiator, will have to get some thread sealant. I put teflon tape on but that is just a lubricant and it just let me screw it in farther. Its very tiny but still hate any antifreeze leaks around with animals (and kids....same thing). List is getting shorter, trip is getting closer.
I searched the coolant flush thread and Rich's idea of parking uphill was neat.

Do you have the drain plug or petcork..I assume the stock piece..plug..I have heard that anti seize does the trick..but don't quote me on that.

Yep stock one piece plug, not to hard to drain and throw on some goop.
