I've always borrowed or rented a trailer when I've had to get any vehicle someplace when I couldn't drive it. I've heard about nasty things happening to drivetrain components when two wheels are spinning and two aren't. Also had a couple of folks tell me that the vehicle being towed had more of a tendency to snake around back there in crosswind situations and they'd never use the two-wheeler again.
