Just wanted to check that if a trim tag has L 13 on the top it would mean it was assembled on Dec 13th.
Or am I wrong?

On which car, John?
There was no "L" code in 1970, since it was a short production year. '70 production started in Jan. '70("A"), and went thru July '70("G").
If it's the '73, then the "L" would be July '73 production.

Joel, it was on a 72 a fellow had a a car show I visited on Sat.
We got to talking and it was something he was wondering and I told him I believed the assembly date was on the tag.
So it would be a 72 with L-13 on the tag.
He gave me his phone # and I am going to call him when I verify the code.

It would still be a July 13 date, I believe. I don't have my books here, but I think that's correct for '72, also.

Thanks Dan and Joel for your help.
I called the guy and gave him the info I had and we ended up talking about 30 minutes on Vettes.
He had his car judged by NCRS and it got a 97.3 but he really didnt know all that much about it.
Thanks again.

Yeah...L 13 would be a July 13th, 1972 date.
