How did it come? USPS or package delivery service? If it came USPS, I think you can just write RETURN TO SENDER on it, but then I guess you would not have any way to track it or prove you returned it.

have you tried CALLING Bestprices.com?

Again, I'm sorry this happened to all of you!

It came USPS while we were gone to the NCRS meet in Waco today. If I get no response from the e-mail(again), I'll try to call.
Am I the only one that actually got this thing, or did some of you others get it too? It appears to be a very small, children's book, maybe 10 pages or so...the package is comic book sized. Definitely NOT Jerry's book!
At least it was less than $10, anyway...I'd REALLY be teed if it was $100!!

Nope, I've been gone all week and just got home Friday to find my very own edition of the Chinaberry Tree had arrived. I haven't developed a gameplan just yet but I will. Might as well have some fun. I guess the worst that can happen is that I may decide to keep it. If so I am bringing it to Mid America next year and having Adam sign it..... I'll laminate a few pages of this thread, stick em inside the book and it can still be a coffee table item..... Tuxblacray2007-10-27 22:55:47

I got mine Thursday. It came through the US Postage service not UPS. I did not open mine, just took it down to the post office and had them send it back. That way I don't have to pay the return shipping.

I got mine last Saturday.  It'll find a nice home in our library.  They take donations, and in the grand scheme of things, this ain't worth the effort.

Adam, no problem.  Keep sending the stuff out.  Surely not all sellers are crooks!

Glad you got a response and a free shipping label. I'm thinking it was actually Buy.com's fault.  I guess as long as it gets taken care of, it doesn't matter.

Thanks for the update!

Well, I still have not received ANYTHING from BestPrices.com, OR Buy.com!
I checked today, and my account has NOT been charged for the kiddie book, so.....
I did send an e-mail to the person I was supposed to contact, but I have gotten NOTHING.
Scott, can you P/M me with the contact info you used to get that response? I must be missing something.
Like I say, I haven't been charged for it....yet, but they did send the wrong book. I suppose I should just let it go, right?

Joel,
I sent all the information that I had back with the package, I didn't even keep a copy for myself since it was only a 10 buck thing.
Open your package and it has with the book instructions on how to return it. I went to bestprices.com and emailed them through their link explaining what had happened and they sent me the return authorization. It says any returns sent without an RA will be returned back to the sender. I probably should have kept a copy but as far as I am concerned it is a done deal now.
