Vette(s): 1982CE,32,000 and counting. (fast!!) 1981 Vette, black on black. ZZ4 (quick!!)
I stopped by the body shop today. The owner wasn't there but one of the workers there said there are waiting on a mint condition CE front clip. It's being shiped down here from NY. I'm going to have them take off the crossfire emblems.I think it looks cleaner that way. If I want I can put on one of my NOS emblems I have in my stockroom. I'm glad my adjuster is a car guy. He wants to see my car fixed.Big%20smile

Vette(s): 1982 Black, ZZ4, Hooker Side Pipes, 3.55 Rear, Rebuilt & upgraded 700R4, All new suspension, brakes, & new Charcoal interior.
Being your's is a Collector's Edition, I would put the correct emblems on it.
Just my 2 cents.

Really...how are YOU doing?
I'm sure just hearing the ins was not gonna gig ya made ya feel a little better...

I think I'd go with the emblems back on, too...it'd be like taking the "Stingray" badges off the sides on my '74...just wouldn't look right to me!
But...it am your car! You can always put them on later if you decide it looked better with them.

Thanks, everybody. I'm feeling fine. I got the staples out of my head today. I seem to be back to normal. I'm just worried about down the road.I've allready got a bad back. It's so bad that I'm on those pain patches. 150 mg fentnal. I'll tell ya I bounced around there a lot. I did have since to turn off the engine as soon as I hit and started to spin. I reached over and turned off the key. I'll tell you what. When you get cuts on your head and right on the eyebrow you bleed like all get out. I'd wipe it off and in a second it was dripping off me again. The lady asked my if I was allright???? NO, I'M NOT!!!!I mean there was blood everywhere. All mine. My head broke the windshield and I think my nose got the inside mirror. Something split my wrist open and it was about twice the normal size. They cut off my clothes while I was on the way to the hospital in the ambalance. They kept asking me did I know what day it was and what town I was in ect. I don't ever want to do that again. I'm 59 and have been driving hi-po cars all my life and that was the first wreck I've ever had.CrydohCensored zgator2007-12-07 21:23:40
