LOL.....
I saw that and did not dare say a thing

and Joe wanted to paint it red........
Let me make this clear..... The vette org colors are BLACK outside..
RED inside.. and some a$$clown used black on the inside.....
I am going to restore the inside to RED.... and I am thinking of a Black/red custom paint job on the outside....
and yes all vettes are RED...

Joe, what is the plan for the motor? That will stay blue right?

ebo, good question... I have been told that chev blue is the correct color motor for a 1980.. so yea i was going to keep it blue...
[QUOTE=dwright]A BIG DITTO on that for me too.
I like taking thinks apart, cleaning them all up.
But when I put it all back together and I have a bunch of parts left over, or I can't find that little screw, that's when the cursing starts.
Good luck with your project and thanks for sharing.

those would be called airplane parts Dwight. because when you throw them the y fly
.

looking good Joe, I have to make a trip your way and check things out!
Joe, the original motor color for the 80 is blue, side note when you get motor out check oil pan for pitting. My red vette needs the pan replaced, once rust was removed pits appeared.
