Hey guys,

I know most of you guys are following my build. And in some cases even helping, or guiding. I think its long over due for some pics. So here you are:
http://fattyslims.com/vette/pics/120105/Resized/
http://fattyslims.com/vette/pics/120105/Resized1/
http://fattyslims.com/vette/pics/Restoration%20Part%202/engi ne_7-9-05/Resized_100_0419.jpg

You'll  notice that there are some scratches, and 'primer patches' in the paint. Mosy of this was becasue of wrenches, and from when we were toruqing the bolts. And the flourecent (tried my best - lol) fell from the ceiling, and into the Vette's engien compartment. But once the front-end is complete (hopefully this weekend with teh coil compressing mahcine rented from autozone), we'll finsih painting. Then we'll do small things like the interior assembly I.E. lightbulbs, speakers, new dash board, cluster guage, etc....

Nice job there, Louis!! Slowly, but surely, eh?!

Did you notice, in THIS PIC, the "runs" in the paint on the front crossmember/vac. tank? They run "up", not down. This is factory!! The frames were painted upside down, and they didn't worry about having runs on it anywhere! As an NCRS judge, this is some of the anal stuff we look for!! Of course, you can't see it normally, but it is neat to see stuff like that, because it is the way it was done.

You're doing a good job on it. Keep it up!!

oh...btw, LOVE the high-tech parts/paint hanging tools!! Adams' Apple38688.823912037

Keep up the good work. Looks real nice.

Corvettes and women are the same...You want to make love to them but they keep breaking down.
