John,
Go with a quality rubber hose (color coded & sized) kit from Doc Rebuild.
The original system on my '68 worked just fine for 39 years. The only reason I replaced them was part of an overall restoration.
The repro OEM kit should last another 40+ years.
Good luck,
Anthony
i agree with Anthony, go with the rubber it will out last you. Why spend extra $ if you don't need to.

Anthony,
Thanks for the input. I will probably stay with the rubber since it will will no doubt be less expensive than silicone, and you are right, it will probably outlast me

John; I replaced all mine with the Doc Rebuild kit that has the preformed hoses and everything fit great and looks like it came out of the factory. I also bought there diagrams for the vacume system and the electrical system and they are a big help. They are laminated so I can take'em out in the garage, if they get dirty you just wipe them off.
