Adams Apple (Joel) posted yesterday about an guy who does prints of vettes.

If you're interested in having one done of YOUR vette, I have a friend who'd be willing to draw yours for a nominal fee.

He'll also do avatars or special requests.

Mine is done in pencil on 8 x 11. He does color work also and different sizes.  Here's what mine looks like:

I have bigger versions scanned but the limits of the forum....

PM me if you're interested and I'll put you in touch with the artist. He usually does fantasy art stuff but he thinks vettes and camaros are cool.

That is sweet, Jim!

The post I did was just about one that I have, not one I had commissioned...I would LOVE to have a personalized drawing/painting of both of mine...one of these days...
Forrester wants over $2000 to do one!

He combined mine from different pictures.  The actual car is from the "dragon" pic I use as a background on my computer screen.

Nominal fee?  Starts at $100.00 and goes up to $500.00. I think it's extremely reasonable.

  100.00 is for 8 x 10 pencil (like mine)

  500.00 is for  14 x 16 acrylic painting.

Larger obviously costs more and the detail in the pics will drive costs in between.

He says his supplies should be out here to Iraq in about a month and he'd get started right away for anyone interested. Pencil work could be started before that.

You can see his other works at

All the work on the page above  was commisioned and he has artwork in the HOF in Canton, Ohio.
