Topic: Vette only summer shows
in Forum: C3 General Discussion

Hello all vetteheads - for the past couple of years I have attended different car shows everyweekend and while I get the occasional trophy most often I see the radical rods or Hurst Olds types take the prize. Made a new years resolution to attend vette only shows this year. Is there any sites that you know of that list these type of shows around the midwest?

I feel just the opposite...I like General Car Shows better then All Vette Shows... A restored 1947 or 48 Intermnational DUMP Truck took best of show at one show last year...reallly cool truck..(owned by a guy who
runs a trucking company naturally)
Maybe I'm jaded but while I love Corvettes I kind of like to look at other brands ..have eneough trophies in the garage but NEVER enough Dash Plaques stuck on the walls...

Went to the annual Darryl Starbird Car Show here in Wichita this last weekend. Had some real nice cars. I agree with Bob, I like a variety of cars. Don't get me wrong, I still love the vettes, but there's also a lot of nice cars out there other than vettes (not as many though..)

I attended a lot of shows this past spring, summer and fall and agree,I
have never seen a corvette win,I live in the NY,NJ area and there is
a lot of corvette only shows and chevy only shows. one show was a
peoples choice show in which the spectators vote on the best corvettes in each class.
