Topic: Visitor To My House
in Forum: C3 General Discussion
Had another sunny day yesterday so I pulled the girl out and gave her a bath. Had to run a few errands, so my girl was out by herself and apparently was flirting. A guy knocked on the door and asked my wife if I would sell the Vette!
Of course my wife would love to get rid of it as she wants something she feels comfortable driving (she would like a C5 or C6 or Honda S2000). So I came home and was immediately presented with a phone number saying this "guy wants to buy your Vette." Think I should call him?
Nope!!!!!!!!!!!

About 10 years ago I let my wife talk me into selling my '70 Boss 302 for $10k, years later I realize I should've kept the car, I got along much better with it and whenever it made me mad I went in the house and it didn't follow me in nagging!
Matt

There is not one day that goes by when my dad regrets selling all the cars hes'd owned. He has owned a 6 pack shaker hood cuda, like 4 C3s including the '78 anniversery, '75, and I believe it was a '72, he hada a 240Z datsun, a '71 Camaro, I know he had more I need to ask him. I've seen all the pictures of him sitting on the cars, k00l. He always had his cool black/orange stripped addidas shoes, tiha perm, and his boots.... my dad was prob like the fonzy of the 70's l00l.

When I was first married it seemed the right thing to do...when I got divorced it was definitely the right thing to do!
Life goes on and we continue to make decisions as best we can. If we could know the future I would have bought all the Microsoft stock I could when it first went public...the same goes for Enron and then sold it at $100 a share instead of hold it and lose my a$$ like I did.
