All the funny noises are gone and it runs awesome... the funny noises in the center of the car were.....
Bad catalytic convertors !
Of course it didn't help that the entire exhaust system was rotting. Got a brand spanking new one out of shiny stainless steel. The guy also adjusted my TV cable the way it's supposed to be. I replaced the lower ball joints and repacked the wheel bearings and the car is fun to drive now.
Another Happy Ending....now gotta get started on the 72...

Congratulations! It's always good to hear a problem was solved without major headaches.
I may be coming to Newport News sometime after the first of the year. If I do I'll be in touch...maybe we can get together and toss back a few cold ones.

Good for you Jim, don't you wish everyone could see how shiney that SS exhaust looks. Almost a shame to hide it under the car.
An don't you mind Mr. Nutz, sometimes he don't know where he shifted last......

Yeah, I replaced the springs... Actually that was an easy fix. Not sure why the original springs were so expanded but they were.
You worried...I bet I was more worried....the new exhaust still cost me a bundle..

[QUOTE=dwright]Good to hear Jim.
Not sure I'll be coming.... This coming year is our 10th anniversary and I'm taking the bride to Vegas, so Vacation time may be at a premium.
Will ya be drivin it to Hot Springs?
