Know the feeling. |hammer|
Front drivers side caliper leaked all over the garage. Went to take the wife for a cruz and pics of the beginning of fall and back in the garage the old b$%#@ went. Bought the parts to fix tomorrow night. Pulled the carb off too. Should get the rebuilt carb back Fri to roll out this weekend. Or at least try again.

Gotta love this life!!

Murphy is alive and well at my restoration location. One never can tell what evil lurks in an Ol' Vette.
Had the rear differential in and out 3 times.
Had the steering column in and out 3 times.
Had the clutch in and out 3 times.
Had the pwr steering pump in and out 3 times

Most of the trouble has been problems with vendors selling parts that fit a Corvette, but not mine. Quality of the repo parts and fit or finish has taken a toll on my nerves. Some of the trouble has been rebuilders not taking enough time to listen to the explaination of the problem or not really finding the problem with the part. Not only frustrating, time consuming, but somewhat expensive.
Nearing completion of the complete mechanical resto and probably will turn the key shortly....I am praying I don't have to take the engine in and out 3 times too. LOL |hammer|
