I got a link to this car from a member who was looking to buy. It's a big disaster!! See how many things YOU can find wrong with this listing. Unfortunately, some poor soul bought it!!
Some folks have NO shame!

Looks like someone had alot of extra parts laying around, I like the custom front oil fill breather, wonder what it looks like under the car, we should be careful of what we say, the buyer might become a member

Bow Wow! Definitely a great quiz photo for novices like me to learn what a dog really looks like.  Pretty sad if I can spot serious flaws.  Either somebody had a lot of extra cash to play with or its going to be a slim Christmas for the kids this year.

I have seen this car on CF....some months back. LOTS of stuff wrong for a 68....looks like its been put together from a parts bin.

Seats are later highback, has a "Stingray" script on the fenders, side gills look to be 73 as is the nose emblem. Door handles are wrong, front grills are 70-71,steering column lock ignition, haven't figured out the hood, but doesn't look to be 68-72. Check out bidders questions, says it has 454 on the console but the seller says its a 350....I'm sure there  is more, but I think its clear.....This is a car to stay away from........

Does anyone recall a song that Johnny Cash sang about this guy who worked at GM and was going to get himself a new car by bring home a part everyday in his lunch box from work, " got it one piece at a time" thats what this car reminds me of

Some one got hosed on this one.  Hood is from a late 70's model.  Lot's of stuff wrong.  Guy must have worked in a vette junk yard and just pieced one together.  Looks like a piece of @#$&*!

There should be a law against all of the rip off's going on with E-Bay.  I purchased some visors a few years back that were advertised as excellent condition, the pictures didn't really show them that well. But when I got them, I didn't even bother, they were junk.  Trashed them and wrote up the $35.00 lesson as one well burned.  Don't do E-Bay that much since.  To many rip off artist out there.

the funniest part is in the description where it says "year",  it's listed as a 1966

A 350 and a 454 were not available on a 68 (327,427) What a rip!

Wrong doorlocks too!

If you look close enough you can see it isn't even a '68...I just think the seller is misinformed.

The exterior door handles are not the push button type like in '68 and check out the picture of the interior...it is all '70-'72 (seats, door panels, dash) and the ignition is mounted on the column. Even the seller (unintentionally, I'm sure) gives it away that it's not a '68 answering the question about the motor...the '68 had no console plate identifying the engine size. This is without a doubt a '70-'72 big block car changed to a small block with '73 and up side gills glassed in, later long hood and nose emblem off of a '74/'75. IMO the biggest problem this guy had was the VIN....the first 6 digits never existed according to the black book, no matter what year C3 it is. Daytona6938638.3231134259
