Hello,
I am new to this forum. I just purchased a 1970 corvette. I am having trouble finding the RPO tag that tells what options the car came with. This is my first corvette so I am not very familiar with them. Any help would be appreciated. Also the center console plaque says that is a 350/350 hp and 380 tq. Does that mean that it is a L46? I thought that the L46 was only 300 hp. I was reading that there was an 11:1 compression ration L46. Could that be the engine that is in it? Thanks again in advance.

Welcome to C3VR...!!!
Glad to have another '70 owner in the group!
The build sheet for your car could be most anywhere, but is most often found glued or taped to the top of the gas tank. I haven't looked there for mine yet, but I've read here in the forums that dropping the tank isn't a major project so I may have to do that in the near future just to satisfy my curiousity.
In my owners manual on page 63 is a table of technical specifications:
.Engine....Comp Ratio....Cubic Inch....Torque.........HP.....
Base...........10.25:1..........350.......380@3200...300@4800
RPO L-46.....11.00:1..........350.......380@3600...350@5600
RPO LT-1.....11.00:1..........350.......380@4000...370@6000
RPO LS-5.....10.25:1..........454.......500@3600...390@5400
RPO LS-7.....12.25:1..........454.......500@4400...465@5200
It also lists fuel requirements, bore/stroke, fuel induction, exhaust, type of lifters, and transmission options.
Hope that helps some.

Welcome to the forum. Congrats on your 70 vette. Be sure to send me your car specs for the '70 Registry database please, if you would be so kind. :D

There were no RPO lists on the compartment lids etc... like on the current cars. Closest thing as Norsky mentioned is the build sheet. There were several copies of this. Usually there's one glued to the top of the fuel tank if it's still the original tank. There is often a copy stuffed behind the dash between the speedo/tach. My build sheet on my '70 came from behind the gague cluster near the AC vents.
L46 is 350 Hp. It's an upgraded engine option.
Next best thing is some detective work. If an option on the car appears original, is appropriately dated, has the factory installation (including the fastners, wrapping on the wiring harness) etc, then it's likely an original option. The best source of all the minute details is the NCRS Tech Info & Judging Guide. You'll need the 1970-72 edition. http://www.ncrs.org
