All the major Vette parts houses sell them ,the key is to follow the color codes ,and replace every hose, the ones you don't replace because they are buried some where under the dash are the ones that are going to be the leakers,4 or 5 hoses that only leak a tiny bit,can be leaking enough to make your lights inoperative, and make your engine run rough.there are also hoses under the dash that control your heater controls, they gotta be checked too.a Vette uses a lot of vacuum

I purchased mine from Doc Rebuild. The length, and fit were perfect. He seems to have a complete selection of hoses and kits.

Vette(s): 1975 metallic blue coupe with t-tops,L48, t/t steering, black leather interior. 1990 L98, white/red leather interior, auto,a/c
the kit i bought even had the hoses cut to the right size. every hose
that was changed made a difference. i even bought the heat and a/c hose
kit and will be doing them soon as well as the last couple for the
lights that are under dash as i will have it all apart then. ron is
right parts houses should all carry them and you can also check ebay.

There are bunch of diffrent Hose's out here ranging from Cheap Imports to NCRS Restoration Classics. You can get them with the Correct Width Stripes or Incorect. You can get them with Molded Bends or Bend as they will. As they are such a Pain to Trouble Shoot and replace I'd just plan on getting the best You Can Find. Doctor Rebuild probably Makes as good as Your going to Find anywhere and I think they are the supplier to many of the Big Vette Vendors anyway. They claim they know more about them than anybody else but when I installed them in my 80' there was Two Missmarked Hoses in the Kit I think that somebody forgot that 80 to 82's have the Headlight Vacume Cans Left and Right reversed to Clear the Hood. Richard....
Are all the replacements color coded? I know that would make it easier to put on,plus you get the factroy look.zgator 2007-01-10 07:14:27
I have the doctor rebuild catalog, they advertise their hoses are the best.
if your leaking vacuum ,it could be right at the headlight switch, thats where i had a problem. I purchased a new swicth from ecklers ,and the new switch also leaked, you could actually here the air leaking out. Eclers sent me a new one and I still ahd the problem. i eventually bypassed
the headlight switch and now use the override switch to open the headlight doors.

I got my hose kit from Ecklers hoping to correct the headlight switch not popping up the lights problem
. Didn't work! Still using the override switch. I have heard about getting bad new light switches one after the other. Anyone ever get a good one? And if so where did you get it? If I have to take that dash apart
one more time I want it to be the last......well at least for a year or 2!!
