I'm not sure it would be possible without the window sticker. But, that's just a guess. There are some sharp folks here, who may have a better answer.
Thanks for the info. Mine is a 1972 so I'm probably out of luck. I did find some other helpful info in the previous post. Thanks again.
Yeah, your basicly SOL, unless you can find the previous/original owner.

I have the build sheet from mine and there is a block that has "charged to" Mine shows a company in Nuremberg Germany. The next block down says "Shipped to" Mine says "For storage Jersy City NJ.
Don't know if all build sheets shows shipping info or not.

Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses.
2008 Jetstream Blue Convertible
When I pulled the build sheet off the gas tank of my '74, it did indeed show the original dealership. That info is in the lower left hand corner of the document. When I ordered the reproduction window sticker, they were able to verify that I had the correct info. I could not read the full address from the build sheet, but the folks at AAA were able to cross reference their database and fill in the details.
Good luck, and welcome to the site!!
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!

Fraid so. Previous owners are your best bet. The 68-72 tank stickers usually do not show original dealer information. 73 and later stickers do. Some 77-81 owners can get a copy of the original dealer invoice and that has all the info on it. Some 81-82 owners of Bowling Green cars can obtain copies of build sheets from the NCM.
