Have a 1974 which apparently has its own unique windshield washer pump. Mine is not working. In the process of shopping the Corvette websites I am seeing some sites with pump assemblies priced from $135 up to $200 !
Some other sites only have rebuild kits with or without the bellows. My question is: Is it worth it to try to rebuild the pump or buy the entire assembly

Dan does it make a clicking noise when you hit the button..like its trying to pump..rebuilding one is pretty easy..and the kits don't cost much..I would take the gamble on rebuilding the one you have if it doesn't work then maybe get a new one..also there may be other GM cars that have pump guts like yours..might be worth a trip thru a salvage yard and look for some that may work.

Yup...it does make clicking sound...so I guess its ok electrically. Saw a rebuilding kit at Rik's for $8.50, that would sure be better than $135 or $200!!!
Pulled it apart and found lots of residue inside since the car sat dor 4 years before I bought it. Looks pretty easy to replace the parts.

Get the kit and do it yerself. The only real difference in the pumps is how many ports there are, 3 or 5.
One thing to check first, if you haven't yet...make sure all of the hoses are clear, as in, not stopped up. Double check the filter(looks like a really small golf tee) on the bottom of the pick-up hose in the reservoir...those things get stopped up really easily. If all of your hoses are clean, leave the filter off, and see if the washer works then. You'll need to give it a few pumps before it will pick up and spray...it will not spray immediately. [:Y]
