I just put some stabilizer in the tank, fill it up (less space for condensation to form)and go for a ride to make sure it gets to the carb. Pump the tires to full pressure and store the battery where it's warm. If it's outside under a cover you may want to consider fogging the engine like they do to boats.
Like someone else has said, I would be concerned about the age of the tires.
BTW, I love Utah. Got family in Park City and get out there every year. This year we went down to Arizona and saw the GC and Lake Mead. Man, that's a lotta water and they said it's about 140 ft below full water.

Winterizing the toys in Buffalo for me is:
Fill gas tank up and put in Sta-Bil.
Change oil and grease fittings.
Vacuum interior, clean windows, put dryer sheets/desiccant packs throughout interior.
Wash, dry and wax.
Pump up tires.
Lay some plastic sheeting down to keep the moisture from concrete floor at bay.
Pull car in its spot.
Put dryer sheets around (cool) engine compartment.
Hook up a battery tender.
Throw the car cover on.
Then wait for spring again.

Hey Dave, I need a winter car to bomb around in. I don't want my truck to get dirty this winter. Can I just borrow your vette?

Not sure if you'll remember how to start a non-computer controlled fuel injected car, but sure no problem. All these suggestions are very good. Hey, sarge have you ever noticed any dampness on you car when you use the plastic? I had a buddy use plywood to soak up any residual moisture. You can also use dessicant packs.

Once in awhile I notice some moisture. I try to air the garage out often and keep a old fan on low to move the air around. I real should do like Ebo and just buy a bag. That would be perfect.

Speaking of the bags. While at the NCM they had two models I hadn't seen before. One was a rectangular room that had inflated supports so that you could unzip an entrance and walk into the enclosure without it collapsing. This way you coupl keep it safe and work on it while in storage, $1500. Another was a stonger bag used for storing your car outside. It was not see through but instead solid beige, $695.
I might still have the brochure I'll check around.
