Got my first trophy today with the vette
, boy was that a surprise. I actually won two classes but entered into only one class. The class I entered was "1976 to 2007 Custom Car which I won. They also had Custom Fiberglass Bodied Car which I won. The custom fiberglass bodied car class is really intended for the aftermarket fiberglass bodies you can buy. So they gave that trophy to a guy with a fiberglass bodied dune buggy. There were about 200 cars at the show and voting was done by the participants. I was the only vette in the show.

That is so cool, good job there! After the hard work you put in your Vette that must make you feel real good, and it's a '76, Right On!
Did you get any pics?Aaron1976 2008-05-24 23:28:13

congrats on the trophy. helps with all the hard work to get rewarded. for me i got the trophy when i bought my 75 and the funny thing was even with the door panels off and things apart when i was replacing things if i went anywhere people would always be complimenting the car.

Way to go. Winning isn't everything but it sure makes ya feel good when you do.
I won my first trophy yesterday too. Best Vette in a local car show. There were only 4 to choose from but a win is a win.
Congrates and may you win many more.
