Vette(s): Silver 1974 Convertible - L82 4 speed Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses. 2008 Jetstream Blue Convertible
I was surfing e-bay this morning, and in looking at this auction for the rolling chasis, I spotted the picture of his home-made "structure" for holding up the body.  Yikes!  I think the driver's side only has one leg holding it up

I hope both he and the body survive the frame off.

I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!

I think that is a optical illusion, looks like a full a-frame but still kind of scary.

Bubba probably just lifted the body off so he could roll the chassis out.
He wouldn't actually get under it, would he?doh

I think Brian & Reid have the answers. I wouldn't be surprised if the neighbors didn't pay for the EBAY ad.... Tuxblacray2008-01-27 06:53:13

Yeah, having this in my neighborhood was a thought that crossed my mind when I saw it.  I used to think I would hate living somewhere with a homeowners association.  Not anymore.  I'm glad to have one.

I do hope there is another leg to that contraption.
