So I would like some input on the possible installation of the following mods on my 1980 corvette, the body will be Millinium Yellow.
Yay or nay and a short explanation if possible ie: looks like rice, cool mod, you're crazy, Blasphemy my son etc... 1. Full body wrap in vinyl graphics w/flags racing theme. 2. Amber parade strobes in front (hidden) 3. Lambo door kit. (will it go the way of spinners??) 4. Replace all interior bulbs with led equals. 5. Video cameras F & R w/video screen sunvisors w/record,play and tv. Just trying to get a feel here. I know there are some traditionalists and then the minor modders and then full blown modders. I like some individuality in cars just to set them a part. 50,000 vettes w/TTs look all the same to me. But then again a giant wing and led on the wipers is a little much too. So think about it for a sec and post em up. Thanks Dennis B.

Hey Dennis,
1). Nay.
2). Nay.
3). Nay.
4). Nay.
5). Nay.
In My Humble Opinion some understated mods can be nice.
Those mods that scream "Hey, this Corvette has been modified!!" can be less than tasteful.
So, that's my opinion.

Hey Dennis, If that's what turns you on, please yourself. Make it work for YOU. You can only please some of the people, some of the time, anyway. Individuality is where it's at .aceinthehole 2008-09-15 09:32:40

Are you just kiddin'? If not Nay all the Way. Although it's your Vette, do what you want! Here's an idea you left out, mount a video camera on your steering wheel pointed at your face and have a screen on your rear bumper to broadcast your driving face to whoever is behind you.

Okay I like being odd man out so I'll turn the page.
1. Full body wrap in vinyl graphics w/flags racing theme.
Maybe, depends on the look. For instance I like Dave Wright's graphics!
2. Amber parade strobes in front (hidden)
Nope to that one...
3. Lambo door kit. (will it go the way of spinners??)
Maybe, I have seen a few and liked them. I would have to try it out 1st. Meaning I would want to open / close, get in / out, and stand back and gaze on them awhile 1st. Just not sure yet.
4. Replace all interior bulbs with led equals.
Not so much for me.... don't see much value and the old bulbs are easy to maintain.
5. Video cameras F & R w/video screen sunvisors w/record,play and tv.
Heck yeah, that sounds high tech and why wouldn't a person want to be able to see up close and personal what is around them?

I am mixed on this one. I am not a full modder.... but I kinda feel different on it.
1) Possibly, maybe not the entire car but some portion would be cool. I have vinyl graphics on my cavalier and liked them. They are cheaper than paint but the do have a tendancy to tear a lttle with age and wear out. (become unstickey in places and peel off)
2) Possibly, I thoght about neon or strobes for something a bit different, but the fear is lookin like a rice burner over American Muscle.
3) Yes, But I am with Tux on this one. I would have to try it out. I also would have to see if I was able to transfer my girlfriend into the passanger seat without too much trouble. So for my tasts(again your car) I would have to be able to try it out first. BTW if ya do this one please tell how it works out cuz I would like to do it!
4)yes, I think that it would better illuminate the dash and gages. Another one I wanted to do.
5) I am with Tux on this one.
Your car though, but would like to know what ya do.
