Some very interesting posts here. No offense taken from any of them. I am just trying to get a pulse on potential mods on the car. I agree some of them are ricer like and some are on the edge, but I do value opinions across the board.
I would rather hear the opinions here then have them done and show up at a cruise and be the the laughing stock of the parking lot. Everyones ideas of mods are different and to each his own but that is why I like this forum the best.

Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses.

Before I found my car, I had considered a number of mods I might do to it. Since the car I ened up with is very original, most of those ideas have been retired (but who knows, they may get resurrected some day).
I have seen a number of Vettes that have been highly modified. When done right, I think even if it's not something you'd do to your own car, you can appreciate the workmanship put into the effort.
I'm not so sure about the forward and rear cameras, but I like the idea of the video screens in the car (although I beleive it's illegal in most states, it might be nice for a really long drive).
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!
I like the LEDs The wrap may be nice, depending on the pattern. The rest I can take or leave. On my Vette I would leave them all, except maybe the LEDs.
But ........
It's your car. Do what makes you happy. Nothing else matters.
Dennis, I'm sure I'm in the minority here but to me a C3 is part of automotive history and I like to see 'em all original
. Too bad the judges at the local car shows seem to disagree. The more "original" a car is the less likely it is to get a trophy.

Aaron, that was hilarious

While I agree that I honestly would NOT do any of the original posters mods (way too overboard for my personal tastes) your comment on car show judges really depends on just what kind of show you have the car entered in...
Original cars are perfect for NCRS shows if entered in the correct category...but will not do well in general car shows or even in Corvette only shows (including NCCC shows) .... its the nature of the game... and after spending 20-25 years in the Corvette Hobby I do mean "game"... one reason I now only do "fun shows"
I do not know how I could handle owning a "Survivor" class of car...all the ones I have seen honestly look like ..well.... old worn out cars with faded paint, worn upholstery etc....not something I would enjoy looking at sitting in my garage... plus if something broke I could not replace it even with the correct part i' have to rebuild the part otherwise the car would no longer be a survivior..

DENNIS,
THAT WOULD BE A GREAT PARADE AND CAR SHOW VETTE.
THERE IS A PLACE IN MY TOWN THAT IS DOING THE FULL VINYL WRAP, ANY DESIGN YOU WANT. CHECK OUT EURODESK'S PAINT SCHEME.
I HAVE SEEN THE LAMBO DOORS AND THEY DRAW A LOT OF ATTENTION.
DON'T FORGET THE FULL GROUND EFFECTS AND REAR SPOILER.
I HOPE YOU HAVE A LARGE WALLET FOR ALL OF THIS.
AND THERE IS NOTHING THAT CAN'T BE UNDONE, IF NEEDED.

I agree
I think the graphics on Dave's car are cool, and like he said, you can always change it back if you get tired of it.
The Lambo doors are cool but like everyone else, I would want to sit in it first to make sure they're easy to open from the inside, and allow easy access into and out of the car.

not meaning to hijack the thread...
Yea Bob, this is my first Corvette (had it since Feb '08) and I purchased it specifically for NCRS activities, however mine looks amazingly nice for a mostly original car
(it has 10yr old paint, low original miles, and has been garaged all it's life). I have only been to a few local shows and I get much more fun out of talking to other owners and the spectators who come by for a look
.
