(KMOV) -- A 21-year-old driver was taken to jail, after an incredible crash.

Her SUV barreled through a garage wall and landed on top of two luxury cars.

The day began in Soulard on Saturday and ended 25 miles away in St. Charles early Sunday morning.

It was an early morning wake up call for not one, but two families.

They were just feet from where an SUV crashed and destroyed thousands of dollars in property.

Janelle Eveld had just gone to bed, when her son ran up from the basement and made her look outside.

The homeowners think that the driver lost control as she flew through the intersection.

She went straight into their yard and flew through their fence, and didn’t stop there. The driver went airborne and straight into the garage next door.

Frank Taylor lives in the home the SUV plowed into.

He owned a 1980 Corvette, a collector's item, plus a new BMW.

A St. Charles County Sheriff’s Deputy told News 4 that the 21-year-old driver was likely going too fast.

They also believe that drugs and alcohol might have played a part in the crash.

The driver wasn't hurt, but another woman in the car was bleeding badly from a gash on her head.

Investigators haven't released the names of the women in the SUV.

They do expect the county prosecuting attorney to file charges in this case.

Somebody smashed through my cinderblock garage last winter, at around 4:00 in the afternoon, and got away with it  Censored  Fortunately the bay closest to the wall was empty because I was driving that car, and none of my other vehicles were damaged... just a big hole in my garage!
