Hello,
The composite rear spring on my 72 coupe let go the other day. From what I have been reading the VBP spring will probably give me the least amount of ride height issues. I don't race the car, rather it is a nice weather weekend driver. I am not sure if I should go with the VBP 300 or VBP 330. Is one less bouncy than the other and is the ride much harsher with the 330? Any suggestions? Thank you.

I have had great luck and a dramatically improved ride with the "330" series composite spring. BTW, how did a composite spring let go? I have never heard of that failure except through a collision damage.
Thanks,
Ralph

about to replace the original 9-leaf on my '75,.......thinking about going 330 as well,.....any further info. would be appreciated?, I am about to order it tonight,....went in to talk to my mechanic about it and he was out ill.........thank you!
Thank you for the responses guys. I don't know what caused it to break. I did have a tire blowout on that side the day before. It's funny it didn't sound like a blowout it sounded like fiberglass cracking. Maybe the spring cracked and somehow blew out the tire. I drove the car slowly onto the car carrier and brought it to the tire dealer. I drove it home later and put it away. The spring gave way the next day on Saturday morning as I began to go for ride.
I ordered a VBP 300 spring kit today. They make the springs in numerous configurations. The expert suggested a 300 lb spring rated at 315 lbs. because I wanted a nice ride and something that wouldn't cause ride height issues. If you order one from them use the code CFM-10P and you will save 10%.
