Vette(s): 1976 Stingray, L48 auto Buckskin/Buckskin Leather originally. Numbers matching.

Later I saw that Pro Team Corvettes has a couple of sets of these wheels for sale as after market wheels. Were these wheels a dealer option, a wheel marketed direclty towards Vettes, or just a popular Vette owner ad-on?
I know that they aren't rare or high dollar parts, I'm just curious because I will probaly replace them with steel rallies or Torq-Thrust D wheels.

Vette(s): 1973 Coupe - was L82, auto, air, standard interior. Now has 1987 350 TBI, 700r4, 4:56, Fiero seats, new interior, PPG base/clear (BMW Hellrot Red), Alloy wheels, chambered exhaust, headers, small cam, interval wipers, cruise, front spoiler.
I think they were just popular at the time. In the early 70's aluminum slots were very popular. If you didn't have slots then you probably had Cragar SS rims. Both were the "race" wheels of the era.
