Well I ordered a set of the Bilstein Sport shocks today for the 72. I hope they are as good as everyone says they are. I thought about making other changes to the suspension but decided since I will only drive the car about a thousand miles a year that other changes would not be a value add. Should get them tomorrow and then sometime in the next month I plan on removing the rear including trailing arms and rebuild that. I will soon have a new 40 year old car!

No worries, Rodney! I even put Bilsteins on my pickup, it was like getting a new vehicle! I won't put anything else on my vehicles! Besides, when you run with us, they'll usually get the first car (oh no, that's usually me!), not the back car! We weren't goin' THAT fast, anyway!
I still can't wait to see ths thing!

Barry,

In my younger days we used to caravan to different places. I was once picked out of the middle of a 5 car group. My lucky day. But that would be off topic so to get back on topic the shocks arrived here at lunch. Thats only a 24 wait. Great service again from Corvette America! Now if I can just find time to get everything done.

Oh, I do consider 80 and dropping farther back "fast"! lol
