Hey team,
Anyone out there have coilovers on the front of their car? QA1 seems to have the market pretty much monopolized...they have four different weight options for the front of the car. Anyone know of any stats out there on this for C3s?
I would deduct about 150 lbs based on the following:
Removed the AC and heater core
Alum heads
Alum rad
fan, shroud and steel pulleys converted to alum pulleys and electric fan
OEM steering converted to steeroids
Any thoughts, ideas or experience on this one is appreciated. Either that or I wait until spring and go to a weigh station...
GO JETS!!

I purchased the Super performance plus kit from Vansteel and put it on the car as part of the resto-mod. http://www.vansteel.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=shop.showItem&subgroup=1916&ID=2445

These folks were very helpful over the phone as I described what I was looking for in the suspension and they put together the kit based on how I would use the car.
I can't tell you how it rides but it does look good on there.
I just wanted to have the adjustability available for different situations like track day or cruising.

Trying to have it ready for the May at MAM party.

Thanks Dennis. I probably dod everything already in that kit aside form the coilovers and probably paid more for it by doing it piece by piece.
Looking at QA1 part # GMP4350-1. My current springs are rated 350# so these should hopefully be the right equivalent.
Nice set up. Look forward to meeting you in May!!
