Vette(s): 1972 LT-1 convertible with factory air. 2017 Black Rose Grand Sport convertible.
Did a club autocross today and one of the guys has a modified  80 Vette.  He had the quickest time of the day.  In talking to him about his steering setup, he has a quicker ratio stock steering box.  Not a Borgeson or Jeep box type setup.  Does anyone know what box this might be?  He has the stock power steering system with the hydraulic cylinder and everything.  Just a quicker ratio box.

Could be a Flaming River 16:1 ratio steering box. Part #FR1513-30

I believe the stock ratio is around 12.7:1

Hmmm, 12:1 isn't quicker than 16:1?

If your still a member over on digital corvettes, you might want to ask gtr1999. He's the guru of C3 steering boxes. I guess he does phenomenal work on boxes and diffs.
