Guys I have a question, Should I replace my rear spring cushions with Polyurethane or Rubber.? The your comments on either would be appreciated.

My guess is the handling improvement would be marginal at best with a commensurate harshness in ride.

Rubber is the way to go!!

This is a never ending disscussion, I went back and forth on this and visited many forums,  there are pros and cons no matter which way you go,  I was sure I was gonna go rubber then ended up poly, and can't even remember why I decided to go poly, so good luck

If you are looking for handling improvement, the low hanging fruit is replacing control arm bushings, roll bar end links and frame mounts, and strut rod bushings. For more neutral handling, put a 1.125" front roll bar on and a 7/16" rear bar on. ( small block)

Of course these mods will all increase ride harshness.

Guys, Thanks for all your constructive comments, I wasn't specifically after any improvement in handling it was just that my rubber bushes are pretty much crushed and I was thinking of going for Poly as they don't seem to crush, also my car sits low because of lower profile [235/60] tires so I thought poly bushes might raise the rear a little..

Your rear spring should be flat to a slight positive arch when it's sitting on the pavement.  If it has a negative arch, then it's time to replace it.
